Description: This delightful highly sought after ’Love seat’ was designed and manufactured circa 1960 by Ercol one of Britain furniture manufacturing Giants. The model 450 bench referred to as a ’Love seat’ has a solid elm base with beach legs and back ’The Ercol love seat where two can sit as comfortably as one. A delightful little piece of furniture with a variety of uses - as a hall seat or in a lounge setting - but particularly useful where a dining table group is set in a living room. (Extract Ercol Archives) Designed by Lucian Ercolani an Italian designer and manufactured in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Ercol furniture is synonymous with good design, quality materials, craftsmanship and is built for longevity. This is a real eye-catching suite of vintage furniture that is no longer in production. Item SKU: Condition: We have carefully stripped this bench and refinished it with a coat of matt lacquer for a durable and lasting finish.
