About this vintage design furniture

The u-460 sideboard designed by the czech designer jiří jiroutek as a part of the u series. Works began after the enormous success of the czech pavilion at the brussels ’58 expo and the series became one of the leading examples of the newly formed ‘brussels style’. Beech sloping legs and frame holding the sideboard, oak veneer sideboard body, two opening doors with one long shelf inside, 4 drawers with plastic insides, laminated black and white drawer fronts - each protruding part plays the role of a handle. Fully restored - professionally polished, stained and varnished, fronts of the drawers painted into the original colors.
