Biography André Dubreuil was born in France in 1951. He worked as a trainee in antique shops before he went to England where he lived for a decade. He studied drawing at the Inchbald School of Design while frequenting many nightclubs. He met several artists including creators. After studying, he got a job for a decorating agency. Then, he met Tom Dixon and Mark Brazier Jones, it is the starting point of his taste for soldering iron. Afterwards, he became interested in copper, steel, enamel… In 1978, during an exhibition at the Néotu Gallery, he became acquainted with Gladys Moulin, a future agent. André Dubreuil is considered first as an artist and a craftsman.
