Vintage Scandinavian style tripod table lamp in teak by Arlus, 1950-1960

Super cool vintage Scandinavian style rocket shaped table lamp with a teak tripod base & a tubular shade in granulated acrylic or Rhodoid (cellulose acetate), with 3 ornamental brass screws, made by Maison Arlus, circa 1950-60. Created in the 1950s, Maison Arlus made this tripod table lamp, and several similar versions in this style, whether as bedside lamps, floor lamps, etc., all with "faux sugar" plastic shades, pressed acrylic, cellulose acetate grains, combined with teak or other supports. The lamp is overall, in good condition with light marks & signs of age & use, on the overall structure (see photos) but nothing that affects its beauty or functionality. This piece is heading nicely towards 70 years old, there are naturally, some signs of age: On one side of the shade, there is a concave shape; we don't know if this is an old sign of previous use, or a natural flaw from the manufacture of the shade. There are no cracks or burn marks on the outside or inside of the said area (see photos.) On the upper and lower edges of the shade, there are some old signs of previous use (see photos: one next to a 1 cent coin at the top, and the other next to one of the brass screws at the bottom). Again, we repeat, none of these things affect the functionality of the piece. The lamp has been tested & works properly. When lit, it emits a beautiful glow (see photos.) It comes with its original cord which has an on/off switch (see photo), & a European plug up to 250v. The socket fits a small flame bulb, with an E14 screw, not exceeding 60 volts (bulb not included). Shade: H: 16 x Diameter: 9.5. Perfect for a vintage, scandinavian or other decor.
