Vintage extendible dining table, Netherlands 1950s

A lovely dining table in Dutch design from the 1950s. The table has a minimalist style that is typical for mid-century design from the Netherlands. It’s style reminds of the works by Braakman for Pastoe, but it has it’s very own unique style. The square black lacquered metal base holds a brown wooden rectangular top. It can be extended with one extension leaf on the side, as shown in the photos, making it extendible from 127 to 175 cm in width It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
