About this vintage design furniture

Description: This delightful shelving system offers both a stylish and functional design. This ’Ladderax’ modular shelving system was designed by Robert Heal in the mid 20th century for British furniture makers Staples of Cricklewood in London. The sought after system consists of a single bay of modular shelving that can be set up in various different configurations. The setup consists of a chest of four drawers and two shelves. Each module is adjustable in position, mounted on golden bars that affix to the ’ladders’. This is a wonderfully designed and iconic piece of British mid-century furniture that is no longer in production.
