About this vintage design furniture
A nice, free standing coat rack in Hollywood Regency style, manufactured in France around 1970. The piece is made of clear plexiglass in a nice, elegantly curved shape. The top, support and base are finished in a nice golden colour which adds well to the luxurious style of this eye-catching find. It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

About the designer
Bengt AKERBLOM
Bengt Akerblom is a Swedish designer born in 1943 in Sundsvall, Sweden. He studied industrial design at the University of Lund, Sweden, before continuing his studies at the Royal College of Art in London, where he obtained a master's degree in industrial design.
