Mid-century rosewood wall unit by Thygesen & Sørensen for Hansen and Guldborg, 1960s

Extremely elegant and one of the highest quality Danish mid century rosewood wall units made by Hansen & Guldborg in the 1960s. It features brilliant carpentry and rich Rio palisander wood grain. It consists of: 2 cabinets with sliding doors 50 cm high, 89.5 cm wide and 40 cm deep, dresser chest of 5 drawers 50 cm high, 89.5 cm wide and 40 cm deep (top 2 drawers height 4cm, the rest is 9.5 cm high), bar cabinet 40 cm high, 89.5 cm wide and 30 cm deep, cabinet with sliding doors 40 cm high, 89.5 cm wide and 30 cm deep, 3 shelves 22 cm deep and 89.5 cm wide 1 wider shelf 30 cm deep and 89.5 cm wide Four 200 cm long rails tracks wooden supports All the parts can be interchanged and set up upon ones will. Metal railstracks veneered with rosewood. One of the back plates of the bottom’s cabinet removed by former owner for easier access with wires or outlet installation. Great original condition with minor signs of wear. Danish Quality Control label reserved for the best Danish furniture from mid 20th century preserved inside the cabinets.
