About this vintage design furniture
Ole Wanscher Scandinavian extendable dining table, Rungstedlund model in varnished mahogany. Large capacity: from 4 to 8, or 10 people. Very nice proportions of the elispe wood top.2 hinged banded extensions allowing flat storage. Exceptional condition. Rungstedlund is the former home of the famous Danish writer Karen Blixen (1886-1962), where she was born and died. It is located in Rungsted Kyst by the sea, north of Copenhagen. It was the furniture in this house that inspired Ole Wanscher to create the Rungstedlund line in 1967, consisting of a complete dining room: table, chairs and armchairs, low sideboard and cabinet.H. 73 x 148 x 108 cm. Width of extensions: 65 cm. Maximum length: 278 cm.
