About this vintage design furniture
4 Teak dining room chairs designed by Louis van Teeffelen for furniture factory Awa, Almelo, 1960s. These teak wooden based chairs with a beautiful, curved backrest slightly differ in shape, but are all reupholstered in the same black leather. The condition is still very good with minimal traces of use and wear, the upholstery is new. Material: teak wood and leather. Dimensions: h x w x d 79 x 46 x 55 cm and the seat height is 45 cm. One of the chairs is marked: Awa Guarantee for good work.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
