Vintage wood coffee table by Hans J. Wegner for PP Mobler, Denmark 1950s

A beautiful coffee table designed by Hans J. Wegner, manufactured by PP Mobler in Denmark around 1960. It is made of high quality wood in a nice, warm brown colour. The table is extendable with two drop down leaves of 36 cm each, so the maximum length of the table is 155 cm. This makes the piece versatile for different occasions and interiors It has a highly recognizable Scandinavian modern style with square shapes, subtle curves in the corners and a style that embraces the natural qualities of the wood. The table remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use and some user marks to one of the leaves as shown in the photo. The piece has a beautiful patina.
