About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful, wall mounted mirror designed by Friso Kramer and manufactured by Auping in the Netherlands around 1950. This lovely piece is part of the famous “Euroika” series. Made of high quality teak plywood in a nice, warm brown colour. The smoothly bent frame of this wall mounted piece holds a the rectangular mirror and an additional clear glass shelf. This allows some storage capacity for small items like jewelry or bathroom item. A wonderful find if mid-century Dutch design that will be a nice accessory to the decor. It remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, it has some scratches at the upper side of the mirror as shown in the photos. The piece preserves a beautiful patina.
