About this vintage design furniture

This cabinet is designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and manufactured by Søborg Møbelfabrik in Denmark in the 1960s. There is a logo by the manufacturer stamped in the back. This top piece shows very high quality manufacturing methods and beautiful design details. Also the inside of the small sideboard is finished with high level standards. The cabinet offers 3 drawers and 1 shelf inside. There are beautiful drawings in the wood. The connection between top and both sides shows the eye for detail the designers and manufacturer had. This cabinet is in teak and in very good condition due to our own workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood treatments. dimensions: height: 94 cm width: 90 cm depth: 48 cm

Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN

Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
