About this vintage design furniture
Trava lamp from the 1960s by Carl Thore (Sigurd Lindkvist), manufactured by the Swedish company Granhaga Metallindustri. The Trava is by far the most popular and widespread design of designer lamps. Trava lamps are characterized by soft, warm, diffused, and multi-colored light. The lamps were produced in several variants of style, size, color, and material. The lamp is in good condition, with traces of patina, minor defects in the paintwork, and scratches. Dimensions: diameter: 39cm height: 19cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has a new approx. 2 meter long braided cable. Additionally, the headlining is attached to the lamp. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.

About the designer
Carl THORE
Carl THORE was a Swedish designer born in 1917 and died in 2007. He is best known for his glass lighting designs, notably for Flygsfors Glasbruk, for whom he worked from 1947 to 1959.
