About this vintage design furniture
Extremely rare piece Iconic masterpiece of Czech design from the 1960s, which won numerous awards at the Brussels Expo in 1958 and influenced all the modernist design of the mid-twentieth century (Jaroslav Ježek, Jitka Forejtová, Jiří Černoch, Vladimír David). Wonderful sailor on a sailboat in refined and light white ceramic, created with the highest quality raw materials of the Czech territory, land of ceramics and porcelain among the best in Europe (Royal Dux, Pirkenhammer). This piece was designed in the 1960s by the Czech factory Jihokera, which was active at that time in the city of Bechyně. Dimensions: 25x14x21 cm; 450 gr. Dimensions in inches: 9.8x8.3x5.5 A small lack on the tip of the sail, not very visible (see photo).
