About this vintage design furniture
Set of Giovi wall lamps designed by Achille Castiglioni for Flos in 1982. The special metal construction creates a very nice light effect. The condition is still very good with light traces of use and wear. Dimensions: h x w x d 27.5 x 27.5 x 17 cm. Marked: Flos, Giovi, made in Italy, 150 W max (see photos). Source: Catalogue Flos page 179. The price is for the set of two. Achille Castiglioni (1918-2020) studied architecture and was a well-known Italian designer of furniture and lamps. He has designed many designer lamps for Flos.These lamps are now almost all design classics. He was also a teacher and professor and has been awarded several design prizes. His work is included in many museums around the world.
