This mid-century Brazilian patchwork armchair was created by a group of young Brazilian designers who created some of the most extraordinary furniture in the 1960s and 1970s, using traditional materials and techniques with a forward-thinking, relaxed attitude. That’s why this set is in the style of mid-century modern designers such as Jean Gillon, Percival Lafer and Sergio Rodrigues. This set is handcrafted and features a tropical hardwood frame that supports a very thick leather sling seat stitched with gaucho style leather lacing. It has a patchwork leather cushion on top with decorative stitching. The armchair is in good condition and the leather cushion has a patina.
