Vintage chrome-plated metal coffee table by Max Sauze, France 1970
About this vintage design furniture
Small side table with geometric lines and design, designed in the year 1970 by the French-Algerian metal craftsman, Max Sauze (born in 1933). In 1968, this pioneering artist founded his own aluminum work company, where he created dynamic and sculptural lighting fixtures. His remarkable designs also include architectural pieces such as the Isocele Nesting Tables. Today, his son, Sebastien Sauze, has taken over the family business and is stylizing his father's creations by hand. This "made in France" coffee table features a parallelepipedic structure with a square cross-section, formed by a tubular frame made of chromed metal and drawing Isosceles triangles. The emblematic appearance of this sofa end table combines both lightness and minimal dimensions, allowing you to assign it to the room you want. Its airy aesthetics will discreetly accommodate an already modern, Scandinavian or more contemporary interior. Period: 1970.perfect condition. Some small chips on the top.ref : 384 S
