The combination of the beautiful, thick, heavy glass top and the eye-catching brass frame makes this piece of furniture an absolute must-have. Considering the age, both examples are still in good condition.This is a very rare wall unit.Information about Peter Ghyczy.German designer Peter Ghyczy was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1940. After political unrest, Ghyczy's family fled Budapest in 1956, first to Vienna and then to Bonn, Germany. Ghyczy finished high school in Germany, studied sculpture in Düsseldorf before studying architecture at Aachen Technical University in 1960, specializing in structural engineering. He graduated in 1967 and wrote his thesis on unconventional school buildings. During his studies, Ghyczy worked as an assistant to the famous German architect Rudolf Steinbach (1903-1966) and on projects in Paris and Egypt. In 1969, he obtained German citizenship.

Peter Ghyczy is a Dutch designer born in 1940 in Budapest, Hungary. After studying architecture at Munich University of Technology, he moved to Stuttgart, where he worked as an industrial designer for various companies.
