About this vintage design furniture
Castelijn is a Dutch furniture factory that has been around since 1958. Many modern designs from then are classics of today. In addition to own design, Castelijn works together with external designers. Designs by, among others, Dick Spierenburg, Gerard de Hoop, Coen Castelijn, Marieke Castelijn and also Karel Boonzaadjer and Pierre Mazairac were produced at Castelijn. The core values of every Castlijn product are beautiful modern design, high quality material, timeless design and individuality. This extendable dining table is a fine example of 90s design with beautiful details such as a trapezoidal edge, metal detailing in the top and soft top finish for a pleasant ‘feel’ of the table top. The table can be enlarged by placing an intermediate leaf.
