About this vintage design furniture
The Canta armchair has a movable armrest that can be used as a headrest. Kita designed this chair for Cassina in 1996. It is part of the permantent collection of the Museum for Modern and Contemporary Art in Saint Etienne. This chair is new, never been seaten on, and in very very good condition.

About the designer
Toshiyuki KITA
Toshiyuki Kita is a Japanese designer born in 1942 in Osaka, Japan. He studied architecture at Kyoto University before joining the Italian furniture manufacturer Cassina in Milan, where he worked on industrial design projects for companies such as Sharp and Hitachi.
