About this vintage design furniture
The Safari Chair made of thick black leather is in good condition. The leather of the seat shows slight signs of wear. The armrests have an attractive patina. The wooden frame is also in good condition. All straps are tight and in good condition. Wihelm Kienzle, a Swiss interior architect and designer, completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter after completing his studies and opened a design office in Munich in 1908. He later worked for AEG, among others, and designed this chair in the 1950s.

Wilhelm KIENZLE
Wilhelm Kienzle was a German designer who was born in 1927 and died in 1982. He studied at the Stuttgart College of Fine Arts from 1946 to 1951, where he trained as a graphic and industrial designer.
