About this vintage design furniture
This lounge chair in brown leather shows a fantastic patina and is in excellent condition. The leather is soft with only minimal signs of wear. With this armchair, Gerard van den Berg designed an absolutely timeless classic of the 70s in its organic form. The Dutch manufacturer Montis has been known for producing extravagant furniture in cooperation with well-known designers since the 1970s.

About the designer
Gerard VAN DER BERG
Gerrit (Gerard) Van Der Berg (1947-2011) was a Dutch designer known for his modern, functional furniture creations. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as an industrial designer at Gispen, a Dutch furniture company.
