About this vintage design furniture
A stunning wall light sculpture of five ceramic plates by Noomi Backhausen and Poul Brandborg for Søholm Keramik, Bornholm Denmark in the 1960s. Beautifully glazed earth colored stoneware with rippled texture in front. Beautiful light flowing out from the back when lit. Nice colormix of beige, green and brown. Great vintage condition. Marked with Bornholm Stentoy, Søholm Denmark. Measures: 81 cmL x 24cmH x 9cmD.

About the designer
Noomi BACKHAUSEN
Noomi Backhausen is a Danish designer born in Copenhagen in 1938. She studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1962.
