About this vintage design furniture
A nice side chair designed by Nanna Ditzel, made by Fredericia in Denmark around 1980. This iconic piece is made of high quality light brown plywood on a black lacquered metal base. It is the high back and curved armrests that create the elegant style that is so recognizable in Ditzel designs. The narrow perforations in the backrest are a wonderful and iconic detail. The seat is upholstered in cognac coloured leather. The chair remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina.
