About this vintage design furniture
Designed in the late 1920ties this model features a handwoven cane Seat and back for comfort and lightness. Simple lines without ornamentation make these chairs extremely comfortable. The chairs where designed in the 1920s. This set of chairs was produced by the Polish firm FMG (nowadays Fameg) for Thonet in the 1950s. Seat height 46 cm. Its signed. Please look carefully at the pictures for the condition. They are all in good condition with patina. One cane Seat was redone.

1870 - 1956Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) was an Austrian designer and architect. He was born in Pirnitz in Moravia, now in the Czech Republic, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
