About this vintage design furniture
Rare and shapely ceiling lamp with History for the corridor, the kitchen and other rooms. The Lamp comes from a 1950s schoolbuilding, hanging in the corridors. It was produced by a VEB in Halle, East Germany. The lamp has a glass with a fine stripe decoration. At the top the glass is clear. The ceiling lamp has a porcelain base and a porcelain socket. The base can be fixed to the ceiling with two screws (not included). A metal ring holds the glass. The metal ring is screwed onto the base. Bulb: E27 to 100 Watt (not included in our offer) The drops in the photos are from the interior cleaning. There the water was still not dried. THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE GLASS. Age: 1960 - 1969 Condition: Good used condition, appropriate to age. The glass has no chips or damage. There are traces of ceiling paint on the base. Traces of rust on the metal. The lamp is in working order and was hanging at the first owner until the end.
