About this vintage design furniture
This is a legendary and mysterious project that was probably commissioned for an exclusive Polish fashion salon chain in Poland in the 1950s. It is unknown to this day who was behind this extremely interesting project and who was the producer, but it is certain that this project is unlike any other at the time. Some suspect that this is a Vladimir Kagan project, but there is no official confirmation of this to date. There were only a few dozen pieces produced, each for a Polish fashion show that was located in every major city in Poland at the time. This fabulous desk features a generous writing surface covered by a rolling top. Underneath the writing tray you will find a spacious drawer with a few different sized sections that keep everything perfectly organized. This piece has been fully restored and is in very good condition. The walnut veneer has been finished with a traditional old fashioned French shellac, applied by hand, which gives it a great look and also protects the wood. This versatile piece is a perfect addition to any home, business or office.
