Vintage teak meal set by Mcintosh, 1960s

Description: This delightful dining table and chairs were designed and manufactured by Mcintosh of Kirkcaldy in the mid-twentieth century. McIntosh was known on the vintage market for their mid-century style furniture, particularly for teak cabinetry and sideboards. Founded in 1869 by Alexander Henry (A.H) McIntosh (1835-1919) in Kirkcaldy, Fife. The rarely seen dining table comfortably accommodates the six beautiful chairs with ample dining space. The dining table extends with a fold-away leaf and is in superb condition. The six chairs including two carvers have been re-upholstered in black flux-leather material. The set has a beautiful rich grain, warm tones and rich colours throughout. Item SKU: Condition: We have carefully stripped this table & six chairs and refinished them with a coat of matt lacquer for a durable and lasting finish. The glass is in used condition and as you would expect from a vintage item has some very minor traces of use. The table is also available with the option of a brand new glass insert. We try to capture the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible. Prior to dispatch All items are carefully cleaned and re-coated with danish oil to ensure your item is looking its best when delivered. This item is in very good condition with no faults.
