Pilastro Wall system with cabinet and desk design Tjerk Reijenga ca. 1960s In the sixties there was a need for storage space, airy storage space. Tjerk Reijenga designed the Pilastro wall systems in 1955, under the name Pilastro Combinare 1001. They are modular systems that you can organize and assemble according to your own insight. They were sold at, among others, the Bijenkorf, and Pilastro’s own showroom on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam, they were also offered in the Goed Wonen stores. We now have a very stylish vintage Pilastro wall system from that time, composed of one cabinet with sliding doors, a perforated metal waste bin and five shelves, one of which is deeper. The system has a modern color combination, black and gray and yellow and white. Simplicity and style do it here. The system is made of lacquered metal and is in a good vintage condition with light signs of use. This setup also has a desk with two drawers. Be quick because they are becoming extremely rare.
