About this vintage design furniture
Michigan" model armchair attributed to Guy Bernard for Meurop around 1969-1970. The style of the armchair is not without recalling the creations of Pierre Guariche, it is likely that he participated or supervised the design of this model. Guy Bernard succeeded Pierre Guariche as artistic director of the Meurop firm when the latter left in 1968. Original upholstery in black skai, chromed steel base. The chair is in very good general condition, the skai is in very good condition, the base is in good original condition with some traces of use and time. Seat height -46cm.
