About this vintage design furniture

Beautifully shaped bar stool designed by Jean Prouve in the 1940s, produced by Vitra. The condition is very similar for all bar stools. They are beautifully patinated with small scratches and signs of use. The measurements are: Seat ø 38cm, Seat height: 78cm, width of the legs: 58cm All come with an original label by "Vitra". We have 14 pieces available. The price is per item.

About the designer

Jean PROUVE

1901 - 1984

Jean Prouvé (1901-1984) was a French designer and builder. Born in Nancy, he began working in his father's iron workshop before studying art and design at the École de Nancy. In the 1920s, he began designing metal furniture and founded his own company, Ateliers Jean Prouvé, in 1923.
