Vintage brass and smoked glass side table, 1960s

Super cool, vintage side table with a brass magazine rack and a 1960s black glass top shelf. The frame and upside down hairpin legs are made of brass, the lower part has a magazine rack also made of brass and black crossed wires in the shape of a diamond, "V" or "X", which rests on legs with black plastic tips, giving the whole thing a really nice look that is in line with the designs of that era. The design of the legs of the upper part, allows them to be used as two handles, making it easy to move the piece if necessary. The four black end caps are original and present. The glass top shelf has a rectangular brass handle on each side and four plastic clips that hold it in place. The piece is in very good, original, vintage condition, with slight signs of wear, age and use consistent with its age, on the glass shelf, frame and legs, as well as a patina of time, which only adds to its charm (see photos.) The glass shelf has no cracks or chips. There are slight signs of age and marks of use (see photo next to a 1 cent coin for perspective), also commensurate with time. The felt under the glass top is in its original condition and we decided to leave it as it is part of the original piece (see photo.) The design has clean lines. The structure is functional and stable. It has been cleaned only delicately respecting the original patina. Perfect size to optimize the space in a small room. A great piece of retro decoration, which could be used as a side table, sofa end table or other.
