About this vintage design furniture
String shelf designed by Nils Strinning in 1949. The system consists of six metal ladders in black with ten shelves and a desk element with two drawers. The surfaces are veneered in ash. This original String shelf is much better processed and of a better quality than many wall shelves that hit the market in the 50s and 60s. Quality features – high quality veneer – 2 cm thick shelves made of blockboard, which prevent sagging – stable shelf holders that compensate for slight unevenness – more stable ladders Container: W 78 cm, H 10 cm, D 30 cm 3 Shelves: W 78 cm, H 2 cm, D 30 cm 7 Shelves: W 78 cm, H 2 cm, D 20 cm Good restored condition with slight signs of usage.
