Luciano Frigerio

Frigerio studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic, graduating in 1964. After working for several furniture manufacturers in Italy, he founded his own design studio in 1968. In the 1970s and 1980s, Frigerio worked with Poltrona Frau, creating iconic pieces such as the "Vanity Fair" sofa in 1980.

Frigerio also collaborated with Cassina in the 1980s, creating modern, functional designs such as the "Artisan" table and the "Hélène" chair. His work is often characterized by a combination of simple, elegant forms with high-quality materials, such as leather and wood.

Today, Luciano Frigerio's creations are considered collector's items and are exhibited in museums around the world, such as the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
