About this vintage design furniture

PH 43 classic red from the 1970s. It has straight shades and is stable with its original rivets. The bulb protection cup is still there. (These are very often lost) Very good condition with only a few signs of age. There are two identical lamps like these available if needed for a larger table or to complete a room. Contact me for a good price on the pair. Poul Henningsen's legendary design comes from his own brilliant three-shade system from the late 1920s. Poul Henningsen's original design at that time was very functional, some might even call it "industrial", and was specifically aimed at young students. Poul Henningsen was born in Copenhagen to the famous Danish actress Agnes Henningsen. He never graduated as an architect, but studied at the technical school in Frederiksberg, Denmark, from 1911 to 1914, and then at the technical college in Copenhagen from 1914 to 17. Original E27 bulb socket in porcelain.
