Directional floorlamp named the ’Globe’. Designed by Frank Ligtelijn and manufatured by Raak, Amsterdam (stamped to the underside of the foot). The smoked-glass sphere can be lifted from the ring and pointed into any direction. The height is of the stand adaptable as well. All original this is a very Dutch lighting design icon that has always been popular

About the designer
Frank LIGTELIJN
Frank Ligtelijn (1943-2017) was a Dutch industrial designer known for his work in office equipment and consumer electronics. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague before working for Philips Design from 1967.
