About this vintage design furniture
Rare concave sofa by Frits Henningsen (1889-1965), Danish designer and cabinetmaker, known for his high quality standards, with pieces made exclusively by hand using traditional methods in his workshop in central Copenhagen. An active member of the Cabinetmakers' Guild from 1927, his pieces are acclaimed for their elegance and quality of workmanship. Perfect condition, entirely reupholstered in ivory white wool bouclette by our upholsterer partner (Chivasso fabric, "Ascendent" range). Denmark, C.1940. Seat height : 41cm.
