Set of 4 dining chairs mid century in Sahco fabric by O. Haerdtl for M. Josef Hoffmann, 1950s
About this vintage design furniture
This set of four vintage dining chairs was designed by Oswald Haerdtl in the 1950s, famous Austrian designer – together with Mr. Josef Hoffmann he designed the cafe terrace at the Vienna Werkbund Exhibition of 1930, where they designed every little detail from interiors to even cutlery. The chairs are very light in form and comfortable in use. The chairs have been completely restored finished in natural oil that protects the wood and gives it a natural and warm finishing touch. This set has been reupholstered in high-quality fabric from Sahco, a beautiful creamy boucle fabric that is very close to the original upholstery fabrics from the 1950s. More pieces available upon individual order. Wide range of upholstery fabrics from Kvadrat and Sahco available.
