Modern vintage shelf, France 1950

A fine example of mid-century simplicity, this modular shelving unit offers a stylish and functional storage solution. Reminiscent of Charlotte Perriand's 1940 Nuage shelf, the eight laminated wood shelves are suspended by six tubular black powder-coated metal supports.This piece is fully collapsible, and separates into 43 distinct sections. We have color coded each section for easy assembly. This is the basic design, but it is up to you to experiment with different combinations of shelves and rods. One shelf protrudes 7cm from the front of the unit, so please take this into account when measuring your space. Its minimal functionality makes this piece ideal for any room that needs convenient storage.Please note that the top and center interior rod are missing (as shown), but this does not affect stability.
