About this vintage design furniture
Harvey Guzzini is often mistakenly thought of as the name of a lighting designer active in the 1960s and 1970s. But in fact, the label belongs to a lighting manufacturing company founded by six Guzzini brothers, inspired by the 1950 film Harvey starring James Stewart. The Guzzini company changed its name several times during the 20th century, under the names Harvey Creazioni, Harvey Guzzini, Guzzini, iGuzzini and Illuminazione Guzzini. The brothers employed architect and designer Luigi Massoni as head of design, branding, public relations and advertising. This Moana table lamp was designed by Luigi Massoni in 1967. It has an acrylic or plexiglass shade with a chrome cover that creates a beautiful light effect. The base is made of chromed steel wire. The Moana series includes a floor lamp, a suspension lamp and a table lamp. The lamps are in good condition, without chips or cracks.
