Vintage Daybed Sofa Bed by ISA 1950s

Italian sofa or daybed by isa from the 1950s, with manufacturer's nameplate. ISA has produced furniture by Gio Ponti and the "Sheriff" armchair by Sergio Rodrigues. The sofa has been recently upholstered in a blue-green sea or blue-green petroleum structured fabric. Black metal frame. The seat can be removed with a handle underneath to form an 80 cm wide resting bed. Reclining: both ends of the seat can be raised on metal supports to obtain 3 different reclining positions. The backrest opens to reveal space for blankets, etc. Both sides of the long seat can be used and the cover has a zipper if it needs to be removed for cleaning. Recently reupholstered in a sea petrol blue-green fabric. Very good condition.
