About this vintage design furniture
This eye-catching lounge chair, model "Oyster", is an iconic piece designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort in the Netherlands around 1950. It has a very inviting appearance: the seat is a large shell with a slightly sloping seat for maximum seating comfort. The large seat is newly upholstered in a beautiful grey fabric, which creates a beautiful harmony with the narrow tubular metal base. It combines modernism with luxury and this chair will certainly make a great addition to any decor It remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
