Vintage shelf model 663 by Wim Rietveld for Gispen Culemborg 1954

Wim Rietveld furniture model 663 designed by Wim Rietveld for Gispen Culemborg in 1954. A very modern and industrial piece of furniture for its time that can be used as a storage unit, bookcase, display unit or room divider. The cabinet is removable and can easily be rearranged to your own choice if you wish. This cabinet has a beautiful color combination of red, black, blue, yellow and gray. The condition of this cabinet is still very good and original with normal signs of use and wear. It has been fully cleaned and polished. Some scratches, paint loss and corrosion which give this piece (in my opinion) more character (the history of this piece). Dimensions : h x w x d 137 x 126 x 34 cm. Source : Gispen catalogue 1954.
