Large iconic mid-century Austrian newspaper or magazine rack designed by Carl Auböck II in the early 1950s and manufactured by Auböck Werkstätte in Vienna.It is made of solid brass and brown leather and is in very good condition, with no loss or damage with the original hand-stitched leather with a slight patina from its age. AUBÖCK Karl
Karl Auböck was an Austrian designer who was born in Vienna in 1924 and died there in 1985. He was the son of Karl Auböck Senior, a famous woodcarver.
