About this vintage design furniture
Danish rosewood extendable dining table and 4 chairs by Skovby Mobelfabrik Danish dining set from the 1970s by Skovby Mobelfabrik. A very useful size dining set. The table extends using one or two of its original leaves. The leaves are stored inside the table. The chairs have all been professionally reupholstered in a flame retardant velvet fabric. The table and all chairs have been professionally polished. All items are in excellent condition with no discoloration or difference in wood color. Skovby was founded in 1933 by cabinetmaker Thorvald Rasmussen. Through his vision, effort and professional pride, he created a foundation for durable and functional furniture design, which his son Villy Rasmussen and grandsons Preben and Jørgen Rasmussen have continued ever since.
