About this vintage design furniture

This set of six vintage dining chairs was designed by Oswald Haerdtl in the 1950s, a famous Austrian designer - together with Mr. Josef Hoffmann, he designed the café terrace of the 1930 Vienna Werkbund exhibition, where they designed every little detail, from the interiors to the cutlery. The chairs are very light in form and comfortable in use. The chairs have been completely restored and finished with natural oil, which protects the wood and gives it a natural, warm finish. This set has been reupholstered in a high quality Kvadrat fabric, a beautiful black wool blend that has been a Kvadrat best seller since the 1960s. It is produced continuously until today. A set of 8 is also possible.
