About this vintage design furniture

A beautiful lounge chair from the Japanese series, designed by Cees Braakman and manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1950. The piece has a rectangular base in black lacquered metal. The piece is newly upholstered in a high quality beige fabric, which suits the style perfectly. The slightly sloping back and armrests, combined with the backward sloping seat, contribute to a unique style and exceptional seating comfort. A rare chair with a fantastic design that will be a fantastic addition to any interior. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
