About this vintage design furniture
Sideboard made in the 1970s by the great Danish designer Ib Kofod Larsen. The structure is covered with rosewood veneer. The legs are in solid wood, stained in black. Surface after refurbishment. Inside, the space has been filled with two drawers and height adjustable shelves. The sideboard has a practical sliding door solution, which reduces the need to leave a large free space in front of the cabinet without restricting access to its interior. In addition, the sliding door is the ideal solution for using the cabinet for audio equipment. Condition: The surface of the cabinet has been refreshed. Small scratches and cavities can be seen, which have been filled in. Larger traces of use are still visible in the photos. The product is ready for use. For safety reasons, the furniture legs can be unscrewed for transport. Assembly should not be a problem. However, if in doubt, please contact us and we will send you an instruction video. About the designer
Kofod LARSEN
Kofod Larsen was a Danish furniture designer born in 1921 and died in 1991. He began his career as an apprentice cabinetmaker and later studied at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts. He worked for several renowned design companies in Europe before founding his own design firm in 1950.
