About this vintage design furniture

Set of LAR fiberglass chairs designed by Charles & Ray Eames in the 1950s and manufactured at Herman Miller (Vitra) in the 1970s. Vitra obtained a license with Herman Miller in 1957 and then began producing Charles & Ray Eames' designs. LAR stands for Lounge Height Armchair Rod Base or LAR Low Armchair Rod Base. The frame is also called "cat's cradle base". These chairs are made of fiberglass (color: light ochre) and have a beautiful visible structure. These armchairs (+- 50 years old) are still in very good condition with normal signs of use and wear (see pictures). Dimensions: h x w x d 65,5 x 65 x 63 cm, seat height 31 cm. Marked: One of the chairs still has the Herman Miller sticker. Both with V (on the seat) of Vitra and M (on the rubber) Miller (see pictures). Source: Classic Herman Miller book page 41. The price is for the set of two.
